Funny Parenting Moment

Hello everyone! I just wanted to share this funny exchange between my husband and my six-year-old son. Enjoy!

*Son running around.*
DH: Son, come here.
*Son still running around.*
DH: Come over here! What are you supposed to do when I say something to you?
Son: Stop.
DH: Then what?
Son: Drop and roll?

--Yes, I had to leave the room, I was laughing so hard.--

  1. Good one on Larissa - it helps a lot!

We clearly share similar parenting experiences and views.
I've been reading one that I'm hooked on - http://todayscliche.com/.
I have a feeling you'd get a lot out of it.

Incredible job on your blog; keep it up.

    Thanks,

  2. Well, you know your son is all set in case his clothing is ever on fire! He'll know exactly what to do.

I work in a school and our Associate Principal was on the intercom last week conducting an earthquake drill. Instead of telling everyone to "duck and cover" he told them to "drop and roll." It was pretty funny.

  4. Thanks, Peter, Deb and Shelli!

Angela - Yes. I can imagine the students' reactions to that would have been quite amusing! :)
